2015 PFF LINEUP

At the 2015 inaugural Princeton Film Festival, director Indrani Pal-Chaudhuri and her producer/creative director, GK Reid, took home the Best of Fest award for their film The Legend of Lady White Snake. The winning film was selected by an audience majority vote, chosen this year from a selection of over 25 screened short films.

Following the screening, Pal-Chaudhuri and Reid participated in a 'question and answer' or discussion with attendees about the making of the film and the pair’s creative process. The Legend of Lady White Snake was very much a tribute to the late Alexander McQueen, featuring one of his muses, the Honorable Daphne Guinness. According to Pal-Chaudhuri, Daphne Guiness was very active in the shaping of the film, “eventually getting on board as a producer.” It’s no surprise why the film was chosen—it is as visually striking as it is poignant and reflective, based on a Chinese folk legend, and incorporating the designs of both McQueen and Reid.
